Host A Fun Games Night!

We love a good games night! It is a great way to get everyone around and let those competitive spirits out. As the host it is also important that you have fun and get the chance relax with everyone and let your hair down. So here is our delicious and fun menu with all the tips and tricks so your games night runs smoothly.

SPACE - We want this area to be inclusive warm, cosy but also an area to let loose and be fun. Now is the time to pop away any precious decor or family ornaments that may be broken. We want functionality. We love to use our coffee table as our central snack station. Ensure you have lots of seating for all your guests. Pull over those dining chairs if you need to or pop some cushions on the floor for some comfy floor seating.

GAMES - Well it's not a games night unless you have games. Make it fun and grab a whiteboard create team names and keep score. We want to keep everyone up on their toes so we try to stick to games that run quite quickly and include everyone. Maybe skip Monopoly for this one. Here are a few of our go to games:

-Mega jenga

-Celebrity heads

-Ellen app game Heads Up

-Charades

-Eating game, the quickest to eat a donut with their hands behind their back

-Balance game, each team has to pass an area to each team members face without using there hands

FOOD - We want you to enjoy and participate with everyone this games night. Take the hassle out of hosting with a pre made snack bar. By pre cooking and popping items in bowls ahead of time when something runs out it means you only have to grab it from the fridge or pantry. We love to do this by creating a snack bar on our coffee table. It looks great and is so simple too!

  • Entree - We love creating a large charcuterie board that spans over our coffee table. It looks fabulous upon entry and once eaten its the simple clean up of a few boards and cheese knives.

  • Mains - Sticking to our coffee table snack bar we love corn chips and guacamole. Stick with the Mexican theme and create a taco station.

  • Dessert - We love to keep this one sweet and fresh at the same time so our guests don't feel heavy and loose energy. Pop out a large fresh fruit platter and an array of baked goods on beautiful platter and stands such as cookies, pastries cakes to suit the whole crowd. Or even create a lolly bar!

SPACE STYLING - With a few little touches we can still make this space beautiful with some moved furniture. Pop some small jars filled with florals around your food snack bar. Co-ordinate all your beautiful cushions and throws together. Place a beautiful neutral rug in the centre to soften up the space. Pop a fun playlist on in the background.
